CLEVELAND – Western Michigan sophomore guard Seth Hubbard has been named the MAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Hubbard is the first WMU player to earn this honor so far during the 2023-24 season.
Hubbard had a career day for the Broncos in the team's record-setting win over Aquinas on Friday, as he went 9-of-15 from the floor, including 6-of-11 from three-point range, to tally a career-high 27 points. In addition to setting a new career high in points, the Jonesboro, Ga., native also established new career-bests in three-pointers (6) and assists (6), while equaling his career high with five steals.
