Western Michigan basketball earned its first win of the season Friday afternoon taking down Southeastern Louisiana 68-67. It was the second game WMU has played in the Emerald Coast Classic as it is now 1-1 in the tournament. The Broncos move to 1-4 on the season.
Seth Hubbard led the Broncos in scoring as the sophomore put in 18 points, including the game-winning bucket. He scored his 18 points on 70% shooting while going 4/6 from three. The guard also tagged on six rebounds.
Eight minutes into the game WMU found itself down six as the score was 6-12.
