Senior Drew Farmer Goes 3-for-5, but Broncos Fall at Chicago State

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Western Michigan baseball team fell at the hands of Chicago State 6-3 after the Cougars were able to push across five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

The Broncos fall to 7-15 with Mid-American Conference (MAC) play coming up this weekend at Kent State. WMU is the lone team in the MAC who have yet to start MAC play and is in the majority record wise as just one team in the MAC has a winning record to this point in the season.

The Cougars got on the board early scoring a run in the bottom of the first inning, but the Broncos were able to erase the deficit with a run in the top of the third inning.
