KALAMAZOO, Mich. – In its first exhibition contest of the season Western Michigan men's basketball used a 23-9 run in the first ten minutes of the second half to defeat Northwood University, 86-66 on Saturday afternoon inside University Arena.
WMU had four players score in double figures as senior Seth Dugan led the way with 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor. The Otsego, Mich., native also collected eight rebounds and was 8-of-11 from the free-throw line.
Sophomore Kawanise "Squeaky" Wilkins ranked second on the team with 13 points to go along with three rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes played.
