Western Michigan men's basketball (5-6) lost their second consecutive game after falling 85-72 to the Dayton Flyers (6-5).
Dayton was in control most of the game getting off to a hot start from the field thanks to sophomore guard Jalen Crutcher. Crutcher was successful on his first four 3-point attempts, remaining perfect until the final seconds of the half.
Dayton led by as many as 18 points with under five minutes left in the first half before settling into a 45-33 halftime lead.
Crutcher ended with 14 points, half of the output from his teammate senior forward Josh Cunningham.
