Schueneman and Conrad Earn NCHC Weekly Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Western Michigan hockey team wrapped up the regular season earning two National Collegiate Hockey Conference Player of the Week honors with senior Corey Schueneman being named Bauer NCHC Defenseman of the Week and senior Colt Conrad named Bauer NCHC Offensive Player of the Week.

Schueneman had five points on the weekend in WMU's sweep at Miami. In the opening game of the series he netted the first goal of the game to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead in the first period. He also assisted on the game-winning goal, while finishing the night +3 and helping the penalty kill go 6-for-6.
