DEKALB, Ill. -- The Western Michigan track and field team had another great day at the MAC Outdoor Championships, including winning the 3K steeplechase. She is the first Bronco to win the event since Caroline Mullen in 1987. As a team, the Broncos sit in third place with 33 points after two days.
Schiera posted the winning time of 10:00.06, which breaks her own school record. The second-place finisher was more than 10 seconds behind. Along with Schiera, Annalise James was able to capture fifth in the event with a time of 10:27.
