KENT, Ohio - Western Michigan sophomore Reese Samuelson earned a win on bars as the WMU gymnastics team fell at Kent State 195.275-194.650 on Sunday afternoon.
Samuelson had a career-high score of 9.875 for her bars title. She was followed by teammates Molly Freeman n second and Sarah Moravansky in third. Freeman also had a career-best score, posting a 9.850. Moravansky scored a 9.825. The Broncos turned in a season-best team score on bars of 49.100. Samuelson was also WMU's top performer on beam, scoring a 9.825 and tying for third.
