Sambucci hopes to end WMU career on high note

Anthony Sambucci has been a staple for the Broncos since 2020.

Sambucci grew up just outside of Chicago in Lampont, Illinois. While he has played wide receiver at Western Michigan, he grew up playing tight end.

Sambucci has high hopes for his final year as a Bronco.

“I want to be a MAC champion. I want a ring,” Sambucci said. “We’re on the right path and we have to keep going every week.”

Sambucci is leading the Broncos in reception yards this season. With 27 receptions, he has accumulated 353 yards and two touchdowns , adding to his previous seven TDs in his prior years at WMU.
