CLEVELAND – Western Michigan women's soccer senior goalkeeper Maggie Rogers has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in WMU's 0-0 tie with Ball State.
Rogers made a season-high nine saves to help the Broncos stay undefeated on the season and earn their third straight shutout after a scoreless draw on the road at Ball State. Four her saves came in the second half and she also made two during the second overtime period. In addition to the nine saves, Rogers had to deal with 12 corner kicks by the Cardinals.
