KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Renovations for a new Western Michigan men's basketball locker room began on Wednesday morning.
The privately funded project was designed to accommodate complete interior renovations to the existing locker room, restroom and shower area. The project also includes a player's lounge addition created by capturing minimal square footage from the adjacent weight room.
"As we continue forward to finalize fundraising for this project, we want to thank our generous donors that are helping to make this dream come true," said head coach Steve Hawkins. "Our guys will have a new home when they get back in the summer.
