COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan hockey's Jason Polin and Ryan McAllister have earned KJ Branding NCHC Player of the Week honors for their role in WMU's sweep of Miami over the weekend.
Polin had a career-best weekend with a combined eight points in the sweep of the Redhawks, earning KJ Branding NCHC Forward of the Week. In Friday's 7-1 win he recorded his second collegiate hat trick, scoring WMU's second, third and sixth goals on the night. On Saturday he had a career-high five points on two assists and another hat trick.
