KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Western Michigan University Broncos hosted the Eastern Michigan University's Eagles for WMU's 95th homecoming game Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Broncos topped the Eagles, 27-24, in front of an announced crowd of 24,282 at Waldo Stadium.
With the win, Western Michigan improved to 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Mid-American Conference while Eastern Michigan dropped to 2-4 and 0-2 in the MAC.
The theme for this year's homecoming festivities was "Forever Gold," with alumni and fans encouraged to don the school colors of brown and gold.
