DEKALB, Ill. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team wrapped up the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championships at Northern Illinois University on Saturday with Alexis Olivier sharing a MAC title in the bars.
The Broncos finished in sixth place with 193.750. The host Huskies took the team MAC title with 195.975, followed by Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. WMU had a team-high score of 48.975 in the bars.
Olivier tied with CMU's Gianna Plaska and Kent State's Dara Williams for the top spot in the bars with a score of 9.850. She is just the fourth Bronco to win a title in the bars and the second-straight year after Stacie Harrison won it last season.
