It's a simple question that precedes every football game, but it's the type of inquiry Western Michigan coach Tim Lester wanted no part of during his four years as a quarterback in Kalamazoo.
For some teams, the four players who walk to midfield for the pregame coin toss represent the squad's leaders, but Lester doesn't follow that school of thought.
For the 2017 Broncos, there are no captains, only leaders - at least for now.
