ATLANTA, Ga. – The Western Michigan baseball team had a tough test in No. 21 ranked Georgia Tech, and the Yellow Jackets proved it with a 13-0 win over Broncos in day two of the Atlanta Challenge. The Broncos fall to 0-2 this season while the Yellow Jackets improve to 2-0.
"Today was unfortunate having playing so well yesterday against Georgia State," Head coach Billy Gernon said. "Georgia Tech is a very good team but we have to play to our potential day in and day out regardless of our opponent."
Georgia Tech got started on offense early, tallying three runs in the bottom of the first inning on a couple of errors and a pair of RBI singles.
