MUNCIE, Ind. – Corey Davis set a Mid-American Conference single-game record with 272 yards receiving and caught three touchdowns, helping lead No. 17-ranked Western Michigan (9-0, 5-0 MAC) to a 52-20 victory over Ball State. Davis' three TDs also gives him 46 for his career, tying the MAC career touchdown record.
How it happened:
Davis' first TD grab came when the Broncos were up 14-7 in the first quarter. Western Michigan's offensive line picked up a blitz and Zach Terrell hit Davis in stride on a post route for a 57-yard touchdown to make it 21-7.
