KALAMAZOO, MI - The college football bowl season will add at least one game to its postseason slate starting in 2020 with the creation of the Myrtle Beach Bowl, which will showcase Mid-American Conference, Sun Belt and Conference USA teams.
The MAC announced Monday the creation of the bowl game, which will be played at Brooks Stadium, a 21,000-seat venue on the Coastal Carolina University campus.
The contract between ESPN Events and the three affiliated conferences stipulates that each league will participate in the game four times in the six-year bowl cycle of 2020-2025.
