ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Western Michigan's finished tied for fifth on floor and Cassie St. Clair posted a 9.850 in the event as the duo competed at the NCAA Regional Championships at the University of Michigan on Thursday.
Murphy scored a 9.900, finishing in a seven-way tie for fifth place. She also finished with 39.250 in the all-around after a 9.825 on vault, a 9.725 on bars and a 9.800 on beam.
Murphy's career comes to an end as one of the most successful gymnasts in program history. She is the lone Bronco to win the MAC Gymnast of the Year Award twice, earning it in 2021 and 2023.
