HOUSTON – Western Michigan University Senior Associate Athletics Director Monty Porter has been the named Senior Associate Athletics Director for Finance and Administration at the University of Houston. Porter has spent the last 23 years at Western Michigan University, including more than 20 years on the athletics' executive management team.
"Monty has spent the last 23 years working tirelessly to positively impact our University and Bronco Athletics," said WMU Athletics Director Kathy Beauregard. "His leadership has been instrumental over the years in so many different areas, from administration to finances & operations and as a sports supervisor.
