KALAMAZOO, MI — Willie Beavers shined in his college career at Western Michigan as the Broncos' left tackle.
That might not be where he plays in the NFL, though.
Beavers, who was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the NFL draft with the 121st overall pick, is a better fit inside, according to ESPN's Todd McShay.
"You're talking about a guy who does have 34-inch arms....he's more built to, in terms of athletically, to be inside and work the trenches that way," McShay said when breaking down the Vikings pick.
