The Mid-American Conference has postponed all sports this fall due to player health and safety concerns amid COVID-19.
Brett McMurphy of Stadium first reported the cancellation of football before the conference confirmed the postponement of all fall sports.
The MAC is the first Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) conference opting out of the 2020 fall season. MAC commissioner Jon Steinbrecher said the plan is to try to play all fall sports in spring of 2021.
