The college hockey season is underway, and most teams already have a handful of games under their belt. There are seven Division I programs in Michigan spread out across three conferences.
Every week, MLive will rank the seven teams from Michigan, provide their latest results and look ahead to their next opponents.
As of this week, only one team is ranked in the U.S. College Hockey Online top 20, with two others also receiving votes.
Many in-state teams already have faced each other, and there will be plenty more meetings between Michigan schools throughout the season.
