CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up the three-day Viking Invitational, hosted by Cleveland State, over the weekend.
The tournament featured tennis athletes from CSU, Buffalo, Dayton, , IUPUI Holy Cross, Youngstown State and the Broncos.
SINGLES RECAP
Freshman Dimitri Moriarty opened the weekend with a win over Eli Wilbin from Youngstown State after Wilbin withdrew from the match. The then fell to Dayton's Luis Saraiva 6-3, 6-1 in the second round. He later took on YSU's Onder Balci in the back draw, but fell 6-2, 6-1. Moriarty then picked up two-set wins over Lucas McManus from Holy Cross and Eli Mercer from IUPUI.
