KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated Cleveland State 6-1 Friday afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club. WMU has now won three straight matches to improve to 7-5 overall and 4-2 at home this season with two more matches before Mid-American Conference (MAC) play begins.

The Broncos swept doubles play, with the duos of Kennosuke Nouchi/Billy Heckman, Matt Hamilton/Maik Steiner and Jannik Opitz/Eric Olivarez all earned wins (in that order) to claim the doubles point and put WMU up 1-0.
