SYCAMORE, Ill. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team overcame a 3-0 deficit to win the program's 29th Mid-American Conference Regular Season Championship after a 4-3 win at Northern Illinois on Sunday afternoon.
After winning the doubles point, the Huskies went up 3-0 after singles wins at No. 5 and No. 6. Armin Koschtojan defeated freshman Matej Kajzer, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5. Christopher Norlin then defeated Adrian Quiros, 6-4, 6-3 to put the Broncos in a big hole.
Then the comeback started.
Senior Benjamin George did what he has done all season in MAC play, win.
