KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team opened up the 2020-21 season with a convincing double-header sweep of Grand Valley State at West Hills Athletic Club on Friday.
WMU won both matches 7-0 to open up the season 2-0.
"It was great to see our guys back on the court competing after almost 11 months," said head coach Dave Morin. "Our freshman got their first taste of competition and we saw a lot of bright spots but we also have plenty to work on, especially in doubles. We look to improve in those areas in Sunday's matches against Ferris State.
