KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men’s tennis team will look to finish what it started by winning a Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Championship to go along with the teams MAC Regular Season Championship. The Broncos will battle Binghamton on Friday, April 29 at 11 a.m. in DeKalb, Ill. on the campus of Northern Illinois.
WMU enters as the MAC Regular Season Champion and the No. 1 seed. The Broncos went 18-5 this season and 6-1 in the MAC and are coming into this weekend as winners of 10 of the last 11 matches. The Bearcats, who were the only MAC team to beat WMU this season, come into this match at 13-8 overall and ended 4-3 in the MAC, placing them in a four-way tie for fourth place.
