TEMPE, Ariz. – On Thursday the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named Western Michigan men's tennis an All-Academic Team while seven individuals were named Scholar Athletes in , Kristofer Knof, , , , and .
It's the fifth year in a row the WMU men's tennis team has earned the ITA All-Academic honor. The Broncos along with Ball State are the only two schools from the Mid-American Conference to earn the All-Academic team award.
Seven Western Michigan men's tennis student-athletes were recognized as ITA Scholar Athletes, the most in program history. Senior and junior earned the academic honor for the third time while senior and junior earned the honor for the second year in a row.
