Men's Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics and Cross Country All Post Perfect Multiyear APR Scores

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan's men's tennis, golf, cross country and gymnastics programs all posted perfect multi-year Academic Progress Rates (APR) measuring from 2019-2023, according to the data released by the NCAA on Tuesday.

The men's tennis program leads the Mid-American Conference in its sport, while golf, cross country and gymnastics are tied for first. All four are tied for first in the nation within their respective sports. Those four, plus the baseball program, will receive national recognition for being in the top 10 percent of their sport. The combined APR for all of WMU Athletics' programs has grown to 990 from 985 in 2021-22.
