KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team went 4-0 over the weekend with home wins against Butler (6-1), Purdue Northwest (4-0), Eastern Illinois (7-0) and Wayne State (5-2) at West Hills Athletic Club.

WMU opened the day with the 6-1 win over the Bulldogs. The Broncos had to battle into a tie-breaker to earn the doubles point. and tied it up at 1-1 after BU won at No. 1 doubles. The point came down to Anthon Arzhankin and at No. 2. They battled Riccardo Baldi and Arnesh Singh to a 6-6 tie and then prevailed 7-2 in the tie-breaker set.
