EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team fell short at No. 23 Michigan State, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon.
The Broncos (3-2) put pressure on the Spartans early thanks to a quick 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles by and over Matthew Forbes and Taryn Alazmeh. Shortly after MSU tied it up with a win at No. 1 and clinched the point with a 6-4 win at No. 3.
In singles, sophomore picked up WMU's lone point. Play at No. 2, he earned a 6-3 win in the first set over Vuk Radjenovic.
