Men's Tennis Earns Dominating Wins over Detroit and Wayne State

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team was dominant on in its wins over Detroit and Wayne State on Sunday afternoon. First the Broncos downed the Titans 6-1 and later shutout the Warriors 7-0.

WMU improved to 6-3 overall this season and snapped a brief three-match losing streak that included losses against a pair of nationally-ranked teams in No. 62 Iowa and No. 39 Drake.

Against Detroit, the duo of junior Matt Hamilton and sophomore Maik Steiner secured the doubles point with a 6-2 win over Mertz/Conley in the No.
