KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team improved to 6-0 on the season after a 7-0 win over Chicago State at West Hills Athletic Club on Thursday.
WMU swept the doubles point, led by sophomore Arjun Honnappa and junior Fynn Lohse at No. 1, who defeated Jakov Suler and Max Sandoval, 6-1. Reigning MAC Doubles Team of the Week Jannik Opitz and Zac Faveri defeated Jesus Perez and Jakub Zamorski at No. 2, 6-3. Junior Peter Kuszynski and freshman Joaquin Caballer wrapped up doubles with a win over Pedro Alverez and Javier Sanchez, 6-4.
