KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- As the old adage goes, "third time's the charm." After falling to UIC twice during the regular season, the Western Michigan men's tennis got its revenge in the Mid-American Conference Semifinals, defeating the Flames 4-1, outdoors at Sorensen Courts on Saturday.
DOUBLES
A big key to the victory was WMU securing the doubles point. Senior and freshman picked up a 6-2 win to start, beating Mihailo Savic and Simon KNezevic at No. 3. Senior and sophomore then collected the point after a 6-4 win over Eldin Nokic and Pedro Franca.
