UNITED STATES -- After a 1-1 tie to the University of Akron on Friday, August 30, and a 5-1 win over Villanova on Monday, September 2, the Western Michigan University men's soccer team improved its ranking in the United Soccer Coaches poll to fourth in the nation. The ranking ties a program high in the poll.
The last time the Broncos ranked fourth in the nation was during the 2017 season, after the team captured a 15-2-1 record behind its first-ever Mid-American Conference Regular Season Championship.
This week, the Brown and Gold continued its incredible unbeaten streak after tying Akron 1-1 on Friday, August 30, and defeating Villanova 5-1 on Monday, September 2, at WMU Bronco Soccer Fest.
