KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team picked up its seventh straight win and second win in Mid-American Conference play, blanking Bowling Green State University, 1-0, at Cochrane Stadium on Tuesday night.
Senior midfielder Eric Conerty recorded the game's lone goal while WMU (6-1, 2-0 MAC) goalkeeper Hunter Morse needed to make just two saves in the win, holding BGSU to 0-0 in the first half and well into the second.
"I thought the game tonight was a great MAC soccer game. It had a little of everything." said head coach Chad Wiseman.
