Kalamazoo, Mich. – The Western Michigan University men's soccer team remained at #4 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll for a second consecutive week after a 1-0 home victory over #9 Northwestern last Friday and a 5-1 home win over Air Force this past Sunday.
In WMU's first match of the week versus #9 Northwestern, midfielder Carson Hodgson supplied the game-winning goal in the 47th minute of the Brown and Gold's victory over the Wildcats. In the win, the Broncos secured their second shutout of the season.
Later, in WMU's 5-1 win over Air Force, Noah James, Carson Hodgson, Owen Smith, Braxton Arpachinda, and Alek Markovski all scored for the Brown and Gold.
