UNITED STATES -- The United Soccer Coaches released its latest rankings on Tuesday afternoon. In the ninth poll of the year, the Western Western Michigan University men's soccer team climbed back inside the top 10, landing at number nine Tuesday.
This past week, the men's soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Green Bay on Tuesday, October 15, at WMU Soccer Complex and extended their record-breaking unbeaten streak to a 35th consecutive game without suffering a defeat. The win would mark WMU's fourth shutout of the season.
In the final third, graduate student midfielder Owen Smith and junior defender Emiel Nieuwhof scored for WMU.
