TALLAHASSEE, FL. -- College Soccer News released its top 30 poll for the week ending October 15, Monday morning. After wins over Oakland and Drake this past week, the Western Michigan men's soccer team jumped four spots to 26th in week eight's poll.
During Western's 5-0 win over in-state rival Oakland on Wednesday, October 11, Dylan Sing set a career-best and program-best goal-scoring streak with his eighth straight game scoring a goal. WMU also extended its streak to 15 consecutive wins over in-state opponents since 2015 with the victory.
Later in the week for their Homecoming match against Drake on Saturday, October 14, Western Michigan completed its eighth shutout in 13 games on the year, which is ranked for the fourth most shutouts in a season in WMU program history.
