STOCKTON, Calif.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2016 season, falling at the University of the Pacific, 1-0, Sunday afternoon.
It was the second match of the weekend for WMU in California. The Broncos defeated St. Mary's 2-0 on Friday. With the result against Pacific, WMU's record moves to 5-1-0 on the year. Its was the third win in a row for the Tigers, who improved their record to 4-2-0.
"We came out way to casual today and we ended up paying the ultimate price for it," said WMU head coach Chad Wiseman.
