Kalamazoo, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team went on the road in Mid-American Conference play, earning three points against Chicago State University, 2-1, on Saturday.
The Broncos (12-2-1,4-1-1 MAC) picked up goals from senior forward Jordan Walker and senior defender Daniel Nimick. Graduate transfer goalkeeper Hunter Morse made two saves to pick up his 12th win with the Broncos. WMU outshot CSU 18-5 overall and 10-3 on goal.
Chicago State started the scoring when the Cougars, Cal-Wayne Allen, tucked a ball away into the left post off a short corner kick that made its way through the Bronco's box.
