Men’s Soccer Debuts at #7 in TopDrawerSoccer’s Week 2 Rankings

LONG BEACH, California -- After a 3-1 win over #14 University of Vermont last Thursday and a 1-0 road victory over #9 University of New Hampshire Sunday, the Western Michigan men's soccer team debuted at #7 in TopDrawerSoccer's week two poll.

Last night, the Brown and Gold knocked off #9 UNH behind a shutout from goalkeeper Colin Welsh and a goal from midfielder Connor Burkett. In the win, WMU head coach Chad Wiseman secured victory 125 with the Brown and Gold and tied Blake Glass (1983-1997) for the most coaching wins in program history.
