UNITED STATES -- After a 3-1 win over #14 University of Vermont last Thursday and a 1-0 road victory over #9 University of New Hampshire Sunday, the Western Michigan men's soccer team made an impressive debut at number five in the United Soccer Coaches first poll of the season.
With their number five ranking, the Broncos climbed into the top five in the United Soccer Coaches poll for the first time since the 2017 season.
En route to their top-five ranking in the poll, WMU knocked off #9 UNH behind a shutout from goalkeeper Colin Welsh and a goal from Connor Burkett this past Sunday.
