KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men’s basketball team saw seven players score in double figures as the Broncos defeated NAIA opponent Marygrove College, 101-59, Saturday afternoon at University Arena.
The victory improved WMU to 5-5 on the season and 4-0 at home. It was the second straight victory for the Broncos, who defeated Northeastern, 87-86, in overtime on Monday.
Western Michigan raced out to a 21-5 lead and led 58-23 at the half. WMU went on to outscore the Mustangs 43-36 in the second half. It was the first time the Broncos hit the 100-plus scoring mark since putting up 109 against Alma on Dec.
