Western Michigan men’s basketball was defeated 73-66 in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament at the hands of three seeded Kent State Thursday.
Western finish the season with a 12-20 overall record and a 9-9 record in the MAC.
Three Broncos finished in double digits. Owen Lobsinger led the way as he had 16 on 6-11 shooting while making four threes. Chansey Willis Jr. and Donovan Williams both had 12. Willis also led the Broncos in assists and rebounds as he had seven and six respectively.
In the first half WMU shot 10-28 with half of those attempts coming from three-point land.
