Western Michigan men’s basketball was defeated 86-57 at the hands of rival Central Michigan. The Broncos are now 9-18 overall on the season and 6-8 in the Mid-American Conference. Its MAC record puts it in eighth place in the conference.
The 29-point loss was the second largest loss of the season for WMU. The loss also brings CMU within a game of the Broncos in the MAC standings.
“Give those guys credit, they played more desperate than we did,” head coach Dwayne Stephens said. “We played desperate in spurts. We didn't do it for the entire game and if you're not going to do that, that's what's going to happen.
