COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan freshman forward Ryan McAllister has been named the JK Branding National Collegiate Hockey Conference Rookie of the Week for his performance in WMU's win over No. 18 Northeastern.
This is the fourth time this season the London, Ontario, native has earned the honors. IN the 6-4 win over the Huskies he finished with three assists and had a plus/minus of +2. McAllister notched his first assist on WMU's opening goal scored by Jason Polin. He then set up a goal by Zak Galambos to give the Broncos a 3-1 lead midway through the second period.
