ST PAUL, Minn. – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference held its annual awards banquet at the St. Paul Event Center tonight, honoring the conference's individual award winners and All-Conference Teams.
headlined the banquet for WMU, accepting trophies for All-NCHC Second Team honors and the Senior Scholar Athlete Award. Grainger was sensational in conference play this season, totaling 24 points on nine goals and 15 assists.
Among forwards, he was fourth in the league in assists and fifth in points. When including all players, his marks all rank top 15 in the conference. On the season, the WMU captain has 47 points on 14 goals and 33 assists.
