WMU men's basketball dropped a 71-61 contest to Ball State on Tuesday night despite getting 42 points from its bench.
The loss for the Broncos (11-17, 4-11) pushes its losing streak to five games as it continues to damage any chance of improving its seeding before the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
WMU trailed Tuesday's game by as much as 25 points until the Broncos bench started a run. The bench unit was led by sophomore and Paw Paw native Luke Toliver, who scored a career-high 12 points.
Following him were sophomores William Boyer-Richard and Adrian Martin with a combined 17 points off the bench.
